3일 오전 11시 경산 자인시장 앞에서 유세에 나선 최 후보는 융복합산업단지 조성으로 신월리 축산단지를 이전할 것과 자인부대 이전 후 후적지 개발, 경산-자인간 지방도 6차선 확장 등을 공약으로 제시했다.

최 후보는 10여 년째 이어지고 있는 악취 민원을 근본적으로 해결할 것이라고 공약했다. 그는 “제한보호구역 해제 지역인 압량면 신월리, 당음리, 신천동 일대 약 20만평에 융복합 스마트 산업단지 조성과 이 지역 10여개의 돈사 이전을 추진하겠다”고 밝혔다.

최 후보는 융복합 스마트 산업단지와 6차 산업벨트 조성(남산, 남천 청년스마트팜 창업밸리, 용성면 농산물가공특화단지, 자인 농산물유통지원센터)으로 경산을 국내 최대 미래 첨단 농산업의 중심 지역으로 만들겠다는 계획이다.

또한 그는 “국가산업단지 추진 시 진량과 자인을 국가산단벨트로 연결하겠다고”고 했다.
