이번 대회에서 경산시 선수단은 29개 종목에 임원과 선수 861명이 출전했으며 수영·역도·복싱 3개 종목에서 1위, 배구·육상(트랙)·테니스 3개 종목에서 2위, 레슬링·소프트테니스·육상(필드) 종목에서 3위를 차지하는데 힘입어 시부 종합 3위를 차지했다.
특히, 경산시 조재민 선수(수영)는 대회신기록(배영 50m, 배영 100m)과 4관왕(배영 50m, 배영 100m, 혼계영 400m, 계영 400m)을 달성해 최우수 선수상의 영예를 안았다.
