이번 이벤트는 지역 동해안 해양관광 공동브랜드인 오선지에 참여하는 5개 시군(포항, 경주, 영덕, 울진, 울릉)에 집중적으로 관광객들을 유치해 코로나19 장기화로 침체된 지역관광을 활성화하고하기 위해 마련됐다.
