【브레이크뉴스 】이성현 기자=경상북도가 걷기 기부라는 이색적인 이벤트를 진행한다.

전국에서는 처음으로 시도되는‘뚜벅이앱 연계 10억 걸음 3만 그루 기부캠페인’을 통해 개인에게는 건강을 지구에게는 탄소절감을 통한 숨통 트이기, 그리고 화재로 엄청난 피해가 발생한 울진의 산불 피해지역 복구에 나선다.

이를 위한 출범식이 26일 오전 도청 동락관에서 지역 자원봉사단체 리더 및 자원봉사 관계자 300여명이 참석한 가운데 열렸다. 

경북도에 따르면 뚜벅이앱은 경북자원봉사센터에서 개발한 전국 지자체 최초 걸음기부 플랫폼으로, 휴대전화 사용자의 걸음수를 측정해 그 걸음 수를 기부할 수 있는 어플리케이션이다. 장점으로는 금전이나 현물 기부가 아닌 건강을 위한 걷기라는 구조로 누구나 자원봉사에 참여할 수 있다는 있다.

이번 이벤트는 지난 3월 대형 산불로 큰 피해를 입은 울진의 산림 복구를 위해 전 국민이 참여할 수 있는 프로그램을 만들어보자는 취지에서 마련된 것으로 알려졌다. 

기부캠페인 참여는 기부를 희망하는 국민 누구나 뚜벅이앱을 설치해 걸으면 되고, 걸음 수는 자동으로 앱을 통해 측정되어 측정된 걸음만큼 기부하는 버튼식 방식이다.

참여한 기부자들의 10억 걸음이 모이면 사회공헌 활동 기업이 울진산불 피해 산림복구 비용을 지원하게 된다. 그 지원금으로 산불 피해지역에 3만 그루의 나무를 심을 수 있을 것으로 경북도는 기대하고 있다.  

경북도는 이번 기부캠페인을 시작으로 지속적인 후원을 통해 전 국민이 동참할 수 있는 다양한 자원봉사 사업을 개발하고 확대해 나갈 방침이다.

강성조 경북도 행정부지사는 “전국 지자체 최초로 걸음기부 플랫폼인 뚜벅이를 활용해 누구나 쉽고 재밌게 기부 및 봉사활동을 할 수 있다. 걷기를 통해 건강증진과 탄소절감, 산불 피해복구의 일석삼조 효과를 얻을 수 있다”며 “10억 걸음이 조기에 달성될 수 있도록 전 국민의 많은 참여를 바란다. 도는 뚜벅이앱을 통해 자원봉사의 새로운 장을 열겠다”고 밝혔다.

Starting with this donation campaign, Gyeongsangbuk-do plans to develop and expand various volunteer projects that the entire nation can participate in through continuous support.

Gyeongsangbuk-do Governor Kang Seong-jo said, “Anyone can make donations and volunteer activities in an easy and fun way by using Tubokgi, the first step donation platform for local governments in the country. Walking can have the effect of improving health, reducing carbon, and recovering from wildfire damage. We will open a new chapter in volunteering through the Dodo Tobokgi app.”
