【브레이크뉴스 예천】이성현 기자=예천군(군수 김학동)은 21일 오전 9시 예천스타디움 및 호명면 일원에서 ‘2022 경상북도 교육감배 시·군대항 초·중 구간마라톤대회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
경상북도교육청이 주최하고 경상북도육상연맹, 예천군육상연맹이 공동주관한 이번 대회는 초·중 2개 부분으로 여러 명의 학생이 구간을 나누어 뛰는 릴레이 방식으로 진행됐다.
특히 교육감배 대회는 9월 초부터 경상북도 내 많은 팀들이 예천으로전지 훈련팀을 파견해 현지 적응훈련을 할 만큼 각 시․군과 교육청의관심이 높았다.
김학동 예천군수는 “마라톤대회 개최로 각 시‧군 전지 훈련팀이 예천을찾아 지역 경기 활성화 많은 도움이 됐다.”며 “앞으로도 더 많은 대회를개최해 예천군이 육상의 메카로 거듭날 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
