4년만의 마라톤, 1만5천명이 달렸다

대구에서는 2일 오전 대구국제마라톤대회가 국채보상운동 기념공원을 출발해 수성못, 신천동로, 반월당, 달성네거리 등의 구간을 달리며 봄 소식을 알렸다.

대구 국제마라톤대회

대구국제마라톤대회는 세계육상경기연맹(WA)이 인증하는 국내 유일의 골드라벨 대회로, 최상위 등급의 플래티넘에 이어 최고 권위의 대회다. 서울국제마라톤 대회가 플래티넘, 대구국제마라톤대회가 골드라벨이다.

홍준표 대구시장은 이번 대회를 마치고 대회 상금을 대폭 올리겠다는 구상을 밝혔다. 현재 상금 4만 달러에서 10만 달러로 올리겠다는 것. 그러나 언제 어느 대회부터 올리는 것인지에 대해서는 확인되지 않고 있다.

고령군, 대가야의 꿈 이뤄지다.

지난 달 31일부터 4월 2일까지 고령군 대가야역사테마관광지를 중심으로 개최된 ‘2023년 대가야축제’에는 3일 동안 14만여 명이 축제장을 찾았다.

‘대가야의 꿈’이라는 주제로 열린 이번 축제에서는 대가야종묘대제를 시작으로 축제 마지막 날에는 참가자와 관광객이 함께 어울린 거리퍼레이드까지...주민과 관광객이 하나가 되어 오랜망의 축제를 즐겼다.

특히, 100대의 가야금이 한 소리를 낸 공연 ‘하나’는 웅장한 연출과 아름다운 선율로 관광객에게 잊을 수 없는 감동을 선물했다. 

4년만의 벚꽃향연 안동시 곳곳마다 인산인해 

4년 만에 열린 안동 벚꽃 축제는 인산인해를 이뤘다. 1일부터 오는 5일까지 낙동강변 벚꽃길과 탈춤공원 일원에서 개최되는 축제에는 벚꽃비 사이로 추억을 남기려는 관광객들이 넘쳐났다.

안동시는 ‘벚꽃길만 걸어요’라는 주제로 관광객들이 다양한 체험과 공연, 전시를 즐길 수 있도록 야간에는 벚꽃 조명쇼, 네온아트 전시 등으로 색다른 벚꽃 길의 운치를 선물했다. 

이밖에도 축제 기간에는 놀이동산(바이킹, 탬버린 등), 뒹굴뒹굴 워터볼 체험, 추억 속 달고나 체험, 라디오 부스 등 신나게 즐길 수 있는 공간과 재미있는 소품을 구입하고 체험할 수 있는 골라골라 플리마켓&체험존, 먹거리존, 꽃다발 클래스 벚꽃이벤트 등 다양한 관광 콘텐츠를 준비했다. 

청도군은 지역 어르신들과 벚꽂 잔치 

청도군은 각북면에서 1일 지역주민 1000여 명이 참석한 가운데 제5회 벚꽃축제 및 경로잔치를 개최했다.

지역 청년회가 주최하고 각북면이 주관하는 본 축제는 그동안 코로나 19 등으로 개최하지 못하다가 5년 만에 다시 개최됐다.
