올해 대회는 30㎞ 부문을 신설해 풀코스를 준비하고 있는 건각들에게 호응을 얻었으며 다양한 연령대 시상을 추가하여엑티브시니어의 참여율을높였다.

특히 전국에서 모인 참가자들에게 참가기념품으로 제공된 7천여만원의지역상품권은 당일 행사 종료 후 관내음식점 사용 및 지역의 다양한 상품과 먹거리 구매 등으로 이어져 지역경제 소비촉진을 유도하였으며,인근 타지자체에서도 벤치마킹을 위해 방문하는 등 큰 관심을 받았다.
