13일, 대구 동구에 따르면 이번 축제는 어울림마당, 문화마당, 요리마당, 체험마당 등 총 4개의 마당으로 진행되며 이찬원을 비롯해 배은희, 별사랑, 하이량, 더 옐로우 밴드 등이 출연한다.

어울림마당은 초청가수의 축하공연 ‘어울림 콘서트’를 비롯해 줄다리기, 고무신날리기, 제기차기 등 ‘구민화합 한마당’, 주민들의 노래·춤 실력을 볼 수 있는 경연대회 ‘구민 장기자랑’ 등이 열린다.

문화마당은 동구 지역예술인들의 작품 113점이 전시되는 ‘동구 문화예술제’, 평생교육기관 체험프로그램 부스로 운영되는 ‘평생학습 어울마당’, 동구 낮과 밤 사진 공모전 수상작을 볼 수 있는 ‘사진 전시회’를 마련했다.

요리마당은 동구청이 야심차게 추진하는 ‘제1회 동구의 맛 요리경연대회’를 준비했다. 동구의 5味를 활용한 대회로 참가자들이 직접 요리하는 장면을 볼 수 있다.

체험마당에서는 VR, AR 체험을 비롯해 로봇, 3D프린트, 드론체험 등을 할 수 있다. 

윤석준 동구청장은 “구민화합 어울림한마당은 모든 구민이 함께하는 따뜻한 화합의 장이다. 동구민은 물론 방문객 모두 코로나19의 스트레스를 극복하고, 밝은 미래로 나아가는 축제의 장이 되었으면 좋겠다”고 밝혔다.
