【브레이크뉴스 경북】이성현 기자= 경상북도와 E커머스 선도기업인 쿠팡은 지난 8일 경북도청 동락관에서 온라인 농특산물 유통 인프라 확대 구축을 위한 협약을 체결하고 지역 농특산물 판로 확대에 나선다고 밝혔다.

경북도에 따르면 이번 업무협약은 지난 2020년 김천에 쿠팡 첨단 물류센터 건립 업무협약 체결 이후 도와 협업의 또 하나의 큰 성과로 평가된다.

이날 협약은 도내 우수 농특산물을 발굴하고 마케팅 활성화 및 판로확대 지원을 통해 소비자 인지도 제고와 농업인의 소득증대를 목적이며 경북도는 지역 우수 농특산물의 생산과 쿠팡 로켓배송 입점 및 판매활성화 지원을 하고, 쿠팡은 마케팅, 기획 할인행사 지원과 우수 농특산물 발굴에 협력하기로 했다.

또 경북도 온라인 농특산물 쇼핑몰‘사이소’와 함께 ‘사먹자, 사이소 먹거리 자랑’기획관을 개설해 지역의 우수 농특산물을 쿠팡을 통해 전국의 소비자들에게 판매할 예정이다.

이날 협약식에 이어 개최된 쿠팡 로켓배송 입점 품평회에 지역 우수 농특산물 생산농가 및 업체 20여 곳이 참여해 쿠팡 물류센터로의 공급 및 로켓배송 입점에 대한 맞춤형 제품 품평도 이뤄졌다.

이철우 경북도지사는 “김천에 첨단물류센터 건립 협약에 이어 이번 온라인 농특산물 판로 확대에 협력해준 쿠팡에 다시 한 번 감사드린다”며, “국내 E커머스 선도기업인 쿠팡과의 협업을 통해 이를 실현하고 나아가 경북이 K-농식품, K-푸드를 선도하는 역할을 수행할 것으로 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
