【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구시가 2022년 지방자치단체 재정분석 결과 최우수단체로 선정됐다고 10일 밝혔다.
재정분석은 인구·재정 현황이 유사한 지방자치단체를 13개 유형으로 분류하고, 건전성, 효율성, 계획성 3개 분야 13개 지표를 토대로 재정현황에 대해 종합적으로 분석·평가하는 행정안전부의 지방재정 모니터링 제도로 1998년부터 매년 실시해 오고 있다.
대구시는 작년 종합점수 분야 최우수단체 선정에 이어 올해 계획성 분야 최우수 단체로 선정됐으며, 성과포상으로 특별교부세 5천만원을 지급받을 예정이다.
또 대구 본청뿐만 아니라 군 유형에서는 달성군이 효율성 분야, 자치구 유형 수성구가 종합점수 분야에 각각 최우수단체로 선정됐다.
홍준표 대구시장은 “코로나19의 여파로 재정적으로 힘든 시기였음에도 불구하고 재정을 보다 계획성 있게 운용함으로써 최우수단체로 선정될 수 있었다”며, “내년 재정분석 평가에서는 재정건전성 분야의 평가 비중이 확대(20%→30%)되는 만큼, 현재 추진하고 있는 채무감소 등 환골탈태의 재정혁신을 통해 더욱더 좋은 결과를 낼 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
