【브레이크뉴스 경북】박은정 기자=경산시(시장 조현일)는 '밭작물공동경영체지원' 공모사업에 최종 선정되어 사업비 10억 원을 확보했다고 19일 밝혔다.
밭작물공동경영체지원사업은 소규모 영농 한계를 극복하고자 주산지 중심으로 조직화 된 공동경영체를 육성하여 공동생산 기반시설을 확충하고, 생산·유통비용절감, 품질향상 등 산지경쟁력을 강화하기 위한 사업이다.
이번 공모에는 16개 지자체, 19개 경영체가 신청해 전문 평가단의 1차 서면 평가, 2, 3차 발표 평가를 거쳐 용성농협이 복숭아 품목으로 선정됐다.
이번 선정으로 용성농협은 2023년에서 2024년까지 2년에 걸쳐 농가 역량 강화를 위한 운영비 지원, 시장 경쟁력 강화를 위한 농기계, 복숭아 전용 선별장 등을 지원받게 된다.
경산시농업기술센터 이수일 소장은 "이번 공모사업을 시작으로 경산 과수산업의 경쟁력이 한층 더 강화되기를 기대하며, 향후 공모사업자 발굴에 적극적으로 나설 것"이라고 밝혔다.
