【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시교육청(교육감 강은희)이 2023년 유치원 교육력 제고와 유아·놀이 중심 교육문화 조성을 위해 지원에 나선다고 밝혔다.

30일 대구시교육청은 유아의 놀 권리 보장과 건강한 성장을 돕기 위한 2023. 유치원 공모사업의 운영 계획을 발표했다.

올해 교육청이 추진하는 유치원 공모사업은 4개 분야를 중심으로 한 8개 사업으로 총  6억 4천 500만 원을 예산을 투입된다.

4개 분야는 ▶놀이하며 배우는 유아의 행복감 증진을 위한 맞춤형 교육과정 운영 ▶교원 전문성 신장을 위한 교원 역량 강화 ▶유아의 조기 안전 습관 형성을 위한 안전환경 조성 ▶교육공동체 협력에 기반한 교육과정 연계 방과후 과정 운영 등으로 유치원의 교육부터 안전까지 다양하게 살피고 지원할 계획이다.

구체적인 사업으로는 교육과정 기반 놀이 활성화를 위해 맘껏놀이 우수학급 300학급을 운영하고, 체험중심 유아 생태전환교육을 지원하기 위해 초록유치원을 지난해 8개원에서 올해 10개원으로, 어린이집과 유치원, 유치원과 초등학교 간의 연계교육을 위한 이음교육 시범유치원을 지난해 2개월에서 올해 10개월으로 확대 운영할 방침이다.

또한 교원의 수업 역량 강화를 위한 지난해 50개팀이었던 유치원 전문학습공동체를 올해 100개 팀으로 확대 운영하여 교육과정 전문성을 강화하고 교실수업 개선을 지원한다.

체계적인 안전교육활동을 지원하기 위해 안전교육활동 우수유치원 20개원을 운영하고, 교육과정-방과후 과정 간ㆍ유치원-학부모 간 소통·협력 등을 통한 방과후 과정 내실화를 위해 방과후 놀이배움터 30개원을 운영한다.

신규 사업으로는 소규모 유치원 간 공동 교육과정 편성ㆍ운영과 협력적 교육활동을 지원하기 위해 10개월 간 소규모 유치원 놀이 중심 교육과정이 운영되고 미래형 유아교육환경 구축을 지원하기 위해 로봇을 활용한 인공지능(AI) 교육 시범유치원도 10개월 간 운영된다.

강은희 교육감은 “놀이 중심 문화를 제공하는데 역점을 두어 유아교육의 질을 높이고, 유아들이 건강하고 행복하게 성장해 나갈 수 있도록 모든 노력을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
