【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시교육청과 경북교육청이 2일 ‘2026학년도 공립 유치원·초등·특수학교 교사 임용후보자 선정경쟁시험’ 원서접수 결과를 발표했다.

대구는 99명 모집에 380명이 지원해 평균 3.8대 1의 경쟁률을 기록했다. 분야별로는 유치원 교사가 11명 모집에 142명이 지원해 12.9대 1로 가장 높았으나, 지난해(15.9대 1)보다는 낮아졌다. 

초등 교사는 78명 모집에 192명이 몰려 2.5대 1로 전년(1.6대 1)보다 상승했다. 특수학교 초등 교사는 10명 모집에 46명이 지원해 4.6대 1을 기록했다.

경북은 369명 선발에 1115명이 지원해 평균 3.02대 1의 경쟁률을 보였다. 지난해(2.56대 1)보다 소폭 높아진 수치다. 

유치원 교사가 48명 모집에 354명이 지원해 7.38대 1로 가장 치열했고, 초등은 294명 모집에 641명이 지원해 2.18대 1을 나타냈다. 특수학교 유치원은 6명 모집에 32명이 지원(5.33대 1), 특수학교 초등은 21명 모집에 88명이 지원(4.19대 1)했다.

특히 올해 처음 도입된 초등 분야 지역구분 모집(청송·영양·영덕·울진)은 10명 모집에 42명이 지원해 4.2대 1을 보이며 초등 일반(2.18대 1)보다 높은 경쟁률을 보였다.

남성 지원자 비율도 눈길을 끈다. 경북의 전체 지원자 중 남성 비율은 37.3%로 지난해보다 1.9% 증가했다. 분야별로는 초등학교 60.2%가 가장 많았고, 이어 특수학교 초등 26.1%, 특수학교 유치원 18.8% 순이었으며, 유치원은 0.3%에 그쳤다.

대구시교육청은 오는 11월 8일 1차 시험을 실시하고 12월 10일 합격자를 발표한다. 2차 시험은 내년 1월 7일부터 9일까지 진행되며 최종 합격자는 1월 28일 발표된다. 

경북교육청도 같은 날 1차 시험을 치르며, 시험 장소는 10월 31일 누리집을 통해 공지할 예정이다.

Elementary school positions saw a ratio of 2.18 to 1, with 641 applicants for 294 positions. Special education kindergarten positions saw 32 applicants for 6 positions (5.33 to 1), and elementary school positions saw 88 applicants for 21 positions (4.19 to 1).

In particular, the regional recruitment system for elementary schools, introduced for the first time this year (Cheongsong, Yeongyang, Yeongdeok, and Uljin), saw 42 applicants for 10 positions, or a ratio of 4.2 to 1, showing a higher competition rate than the general elementary school position (2.18 to 1).

The proportion of male applicants is also noteworthy. Among all applicants in Gyeongbuk, the male percentage increased by 1.9 percentage points from last year to 37.3%. By field, elementary school students accounted for the largest proportion at 60.2%, followed by special education elementary schools at 26.1% and special education kindergartens at 18.8%. Kindergartens accounted for only 0.3%.

The Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education will conduct the first round of exams on November 8th and announce the successful candidates on December 10th. The second round will be held from January 7th to 9th of next year, with the final successful candidates announced on January 28th.

The Gyeongbuk Office of Education will also conduct the first round of exams on the same day, and the test locations will be announced on its website on October 31st.
