【브레이크뉴스 경북】진예솔 기자=경북교육청이 26일 청송에서 학생과 학부모, 교사가 직접 교육 현안을 제안하는 특별한 만남의 자리를 마련했다.

청송군 진보문화체육센터에서 열린 제6회 '소통대길 톡'에는 임종식 교육감을 비롯해 지역 정치인과 교육 관계자 140여 명이 모였다. 

청송초등학교 중창단의 아름다운 하모니로 문을 연 이날 행사는 기존 일방적 보고회와는 완전히 다른 모습이었다.

가장 눈에 띈 건 학생들이 직접 나서서 의견을 내놓는 '이슈톡' 시간이었다. 안동 풍북초등학교 권유정 학생은 "책 읽기 기회를 더 늘리고 즐거운 독서 정책이 필요하다"고 당당하게 발표했다. 어른들만의 회의에서는 들을 수 없는 생생한 목소리였다.

교사와 학부모들의 제안도 이어졌다. 청송초등학교 정문성 교사는 공간을 새롭게 꾸민 뒤 달라진 학교 모습을 소개했고, 의성 학부모연합회 최은주 회장은 모든 아이들에게 공평한 교육 기회를 달라고 요청했다.

지역별로는 저마다 다른 고민을 내놓았다. 안동은 방과후 돌봄을 위한 거점형 늘봄센터와 도양초 신설을 논의했다. 의성은 인공지능교육센터 이전과 친환경 스마트스쿤 만들기에 집중했다. 청송은 도서관 새 단장과 교사 수급 문제 해결을 요청했다.

자유 질문 시간인 '고민종식톡'에서는 디지털 학습 환경과 체험 활동 확대 방안을 두고 활발한 의견 교환이 벌어졌다. AI 요약 시스템까지 동원해 모든 의견을 빠뜨리지 않고 정리했다.
