【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구동부교육지원청(교육장 이점형)이 상반기 어린이통학버스 안전점검을 실시한다고 12일 밝혔다.

대구동부교육지원청은 오는 14일까지 경찰서-교통안전공단-지자체와 합동점검반을 편성해 상반기 어린이통학버스 안전점검을 실시하여 안전한 통학 환경을 조성한다고 전했다.

대구동부교육지원청에 따르면 이번 점검에서는 어린이통학버스를 운영하는 동부 관내 유치원 3개원(차량 9대) 및 학원 4개원(차량 16대)을 대상으로 실시되며 ▶차량구조 변경 ▶안전장치(하차확인장치, 안전띠 등)의 적정 설치 및 정상 작동 여부 등 차량이 안전기준에 적합한지와 ▶어린이통학버스 신고 및 종합보험 가입 여부 ▶안전운행기록 작성 및 안전교육 이수 등 도로교통법을 준수하는지를 중점 점검할 계획이다.

또한 점검 결과 위반 차량에 대해서는 현장 계도와 시정명령을 내리고 차량구조장치 안전기준이 부적합한 경우에는 정비명령을 통해 안전한 통학버스를 운행하도록 지도한다.

이점형 동부교육지원청 교육장은 “앞으로도 어린이와 학부모 모두가 안심할 수 있는 안전한 통학환경 조성을 위해 유치원·학원 운영자들이 안전 규정을 준수하여 어린이통학버스를 운행하도록 지속적으로 점검하겠다.”고 말했다.
