【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구 달서구(구청장 이태훈)는 국토교통부가 주관하는 공공건축물 그린 리모델링 공모사업에 달서어린집이집이 선정 됐다고 4일 밝혔다.

공공건축물 그린리모델링사업은 10년 이상된 국공립 어린이집을 리모델링해 기존 건축물에 신재생에너지(태양광 등)를 설치하고, 에너지 성능 및 공기 질을 향상하는 사업이다.

달서구는 이번 공모사업 선정으로 국공립어린이집 4개소를 대상으로 안전한 보육을 추진하기 위한 예산 17억 6천만원(국비 12억3천만원, 구비5억 3천만원)을 확보했다.

달서구는 2022년까지 선정된 3개소 어린이집(금봉, 성서, 큰별)에 내‧외벽 단열재 교체, 고성능 창호 교체, 고효율 냉‧난방기 설치, 보일러 교체, 태양광 설치 , 폐열회수형 환기장치 설치 등을 통해 노후화된 보육환경을 개선했다.

이태훈 달서구청장은 “그린시티 달서구로서 그린 리모델링 공모사업 지속적인 선정을 통해 탄소중립을 실현하고 보육환경을 개선해 부모가 안심하고 아이들이 쾌적한 환경에서 건강하게 자랄 수 있는 기반을 마련하고, 미래의 기후변화에도 적극 대비하는 정책을 추진해 나가겠다“고 밝혔다.
