【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구시는 지방세 고액·상습체납자 328명의 명단을 16일 대구시 누리집과 위택스 등을 통해 일제히 공개했다고 밝혔다.

대구시에 따르면 고액·상습체납 명단공개 대상자는 체납발생일로부터 1년이 지난 지방세가 1천만 원 이상인 체납자로, 공개대상 항목은 체납자의 성명(법인명), 나이, 주소, 체납액의 세목, 납부기한 및 체납요지이며 체납자가 법인인 경우 법인 대표자도 함께 공개했다.

이번에 공개한 지방세 고액․상습체납자는 328명으로 개인은 244명(64억원), 법인은 84개 업체(31억 원)이며, 총 체납액은 95억 원으로 1인당(업체당) 평균 체납액은 약 2,900만 원이다.

공개 대상자 중 최고액 체납자는 개인의 경우 2억 3천만 원을 체납한 신준호 씨이며, 법인은 2억 1천만원을 체납한 ㈜라임주택 이다 

체납액 구간별 분포를 보면 1천만 원 초과 3천만 원 이하 체납자가 251명으로 전체의 76.5%, 3천만 원 초과 5천만 원 이하 체납자가 37명으로 11.3%, 5천만 원 초과 1억 원 이하 체납자가 24명 7.3%, 1억 원 초과 체납자가 16명으로 전체의 4.9%를 차지하고 있다.

개인 체납자 244명을 연령대별로 보면 50대가 전체의 33.2%(81명)로 가장 많으며, 40대 28.3%(69명), 60대 25.8%(63명)가 뒤를 이었다.

그동안 명단공개의 실효성을 확보하기 위해 체납기간(2년 경과→1년 경과) 및 기준 금액(1억 원→3천만 원→1천만 원)을 확대해 실시해왔다.

특히 올해 명단공개 후 고액·상습체납자가 입국할 때 휴대품, 특송품 등 수입하는 물품에 대한 압류 등 체납처분을 관세청에 위탁하게 된다.

김정기 대구시 기획조정실장은 “고의로 납세를 회피하는 고액·상습체납자는 법과 원칙에 따라 엄정하게 대응하고, 가능한 모든 수단을 동원해 은닉재산을 끝까지 추적, 징수해 공정한 납세풍토 정착 및 조세정의를 실현하겠다”고 밝혔다.
