【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=경주시 감포읍 척사항 인근해상에서 12월 9일 새벽 3시 34분쯤 40톤 급 어선이 좌초되었으나 승선원 9명은 모두 구조됐다.

포항해양경찰서(서장 김형민)에 따르면 이날 신고를접수하고 감포파출소 연안구조정, 경비함정, 포항구조대 등 구조세력을 즉시 현장으로 출동시켰다.

현장에 도착해 확인한 결과 승선원 9명의 건강상태는 양호했으며 기관실은 침수되었고 사고지점 주변의해양오염은 발견되지 않았다.

선장을 제외한 승선원 8명은 민간해양구조선 B호로 승선시켜 척사항으로이송됐으며 사고선박은 감포항으로 예인됐다.

포항해양경찰서는 사고원인을 조사 중에 있다.

Shipwrecked in the sea near Gampo

A 40-ton fishing boat ran aground at 3:34 a.m. on December 9 near Cheoksa Temple, Gampo-eup, Gyeongju, but all nine crew members were rescued.

The Pohang Coast Guard (Chief Hyung-Min Kim) received the report and immediately dispatched rescue forces such as coastal rescue boats from the Gampo Police Station, patrol boats, and Pohang Rescue Team.

  Upon arrival at the scene, it was confirmed that the nine crew members were in good health, the engine room was flooded, and no marine contamination was found around the accident site.

  Eight crew members, excluding the captain, boarded the private marine rescue vessel B and were transported to Cheoksa Temple, and the accident vessel was towed to Gampo Port.

  The Pohang Coast Guard is investigating the cause of the accident.
