15일 대구 서구청에 따르면 ‘10대 정책’선정을 위해  지난 5일부터 11일 까지 구민과 공무원을 대상으로 온라인 투표와 현장 투표를 병행했다.

투표는 2022년 주요사업 18개 중 1인 5개를 선택하는 방식으로 이뤄졌다.

투표결과는 70% 이상 압도적 지지로 ‘서대구역 개통’이 1위로 선정됐다. 

서대구역은 지난 3월에 개통하여 현재 KTX, SRT가 정차하고 있으며 대구권광역철도, 대구산업선철도, 신공항철도, 대구-광주간 달빛내륙고속철도 등 4개 연결철도가 예정되어 있다. 

2위는 ‘행복마당 푸드마켓 개소’로 지역 내 결식아동, 홀몸어르신 등 소외계층에게 기부식품 등을 제공하는 공간으로 생활밀착형 민간사회안전망 역할을 수행하고 있다. 서구 특화사업으로 1:1 배달서비스와 야간 푸드마켓을 운영하고 있다.

3위는 ‘취약계층 주거환경 개선사업’이 차지했다. 재개발 ․ 재건축 사업과 도시재생사업에서 소외된 취약계층을 대상으로 지역 최초 생활맞춤형 집수리사업을 시행하고 있다. 

주거환경이 열악한 주거위기가구를 대상으로 실내거주공간을 수리하여 큰 호응을 얻고 있으며 2022년 350세대를 완료하고 2026년까지 2,000세대를 목표로 추진 중이다.

4위는 ‘서구그린웨이 정비’로 서구의 대표적 산책길인 그린웨이에 문화가 있는 테마숲으로 조성하여 더욱 다채로운 녹색공간으로 꾸몄다.

5위는 ‘대기오염방지시설 설치 지원’으로 지역 산단 내 중소사업장의 노후화된 방지시설을 교체하여 대기오염물질 배출량을 60~70% 정도 감소시키는 효과를 나타냈다.

이 외에도 6위 비원뮤직홀 개관 및 운영, 7위 평리권역 도서관 착공, 8위 노후 동 청사 신축 추진, 9위 음식점 시설개선 지원사업, 10위 전국노래자랑 서구편 개최가 10대 정책으로 선정됐다.

류한국 서구청장은 “이번 우수정책 선정을 통해 구민들이 기대하고 만족하시는 정책이 무엇인지 잘 파악할 수 있었다”며 “2023년 새해에는 구민들이 실제로 체감할 수 있는 다양한 정책을 추진하여 살기좋은 서구를 만들기 위해 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
