【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=더불어민주당 대구시당(위원장 허소)은 3일 오후 3시 대구시당 김대중홀에서 군위군청을 시작으로 8개 구·군 예산정책협의회를 연다.

협의회에는 대구시당 12개 지역위원장과 구·군 지방의원, 사무처 당직자 등 당 관계자와 구·군 예산 담당 공무원들이 참석해 지역 경제 활성화와 시민 생활 지원을 위한 예산 확보 방안을 논의한다.

또한 이재명 대통령의 대구 지역 대선공약 이행 방안에 대해서도 협의가 진행된다. 대구시당은 공약 추진 과정에서 지역 현안과 주민 요구가 반영될 수 있도록 중앙정부, 지자체와 협력한다는 계획이다.

허소 위원장은 “정치는 결국 국민의 먹고사는 문제를 해결하는 일”이라며 “시민이 체감할 수 있는 변화를 위해 예산 확보와 공약 이행에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

한편 서구는 예산정책협의회 개최 요청에 응하지 않아 협의회가 열리지 않는다.
