대구시는 오는 29일 서울 여의도 글래드호텔에서 국민의힘 소속 지역구 및 비례대표 국회의원과 함께 예산정책협의회를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 회의는 대구경북 신공항 조기 건설, 디지털 데이터 산업 거점도시 조성 등 윤석열 대통령 당선인이 반영한 16개 지역공약 사업의 국정과제 채택 방안에 대해 집중 논의하기 위해 마련됐다. 

또 군위군 편입 법률안의 4월 국회 통과, 대구 전역 조정대상지역 해제, 취수원 다변화 관계기관 협정 체결 등 당면 현안 해결을 위한 정치권의 지원을 요청하는 한편 내년도 국비사업 발굴 현황에 대해 공유하고 일찌감치 대응계획을 마련해 나간다는 계획이다.

이번 회의에 국민의힘 추경호 대구시당위원장을 비롯해 지역구 및 비례대표 의원 14명이 참석할 예정이며 대구시에서는 권영진 시장을 비롯 행정부시장, 경제부시장 및 실･국장급 간부들이 참석해 정책현안과 주요 국비사업을 보고하고 토의할 계획이다.

대선공약 국정과제 채택 요청사항으로 K-2 군공항의 정부 주도 이전･건설, 민간공항 건설의 국가재정 우선 지원 및 예타면제, 신공항 개항시기에 맞춘 교통망 구축을 위한 절차 개선, K-2 후적지 개발에 국가 공공기관 참여, 대한민국 디지털 데이터 산업 거점도시 조성을 위한 국가 데이터 허브센터 건립 및 데이터캠퍼스 운영, 대구전역 규제자유특구 지정 등이 포함됐다.

당면 현안인 지난 2월 행안위 소위 상정이 무산된 이후 진전이 없는 군위군 대구 편입 법률안의 4월 국회 통과,  부동산시장의 연착륙을 위한 대구 전역 조정대상지역 해제, 최근 관계기관 협정체결이 임박한 것으로 알려진 취수원 다변화에 대해 지역 정치권의 협조도 구할 계획이다.

또 주요 국비사업으로 국가로봇테스트필드 사업(총 3084억원) ,디지털 상·하수도 통합시스템 구축(총 1183억원), 율하스마트그린 국가시범산단 조성사업(총 513억원) 등 신규사업과 추가사업 발굴 논의도 이뤄질 예정이다.
