【브레이크뉴스 영천】이성현 기자=영주시(시장 박남서)는 지난 15일 도청에서 열린 ‘2022년 경상북도 지역경제 활성화 평가 우수 시∙군 시상식’에서 ‘최우수상’을 수상했다고 밝혔다.

시에 따르면 이번 평가는 도내 23개 시∙군을 대상으로 소상공인 및 전통시장을 중심으로 추진한 지역경제 활성화 우수시책 실적, 신규 국∙도비 확보실적 등을 평가해 우수 시군을 선정했다.

영주시는 올해 910억 원 규모의 영주사랑 상품권을 발행해 10% 할인보전으로 지역 내 소비촉진을 유도했고 ‘소상공인 경영안정 지원사업’을 통해 경영 컨설팅 및 환경개선 등 소상공인 자생력 강화를 위한 맞춤형 지원을 추진해높은 평가를 받았다.

또, ‘영주시 특례보증 및 정책자금 이차보전사업’, ‘공공배달앱 먹깨비 할인쿠폰 발행 지원’, ‘소상공인 카드수수료 지원사업’ 등 코로나19로 어려운 소상공인 경영 안정화를 위해 다양한 사업으로 적극적으로 지원해왔다.
