이번 평가는 중앙행정기관, 지방자치단체, 공공기관 등 591개 기관을 대상으로 사전정보공개, 원문공개, 청구처리 , 고객관리 총 4개 분야를 10개 지표로 나누어 평가했다.
기관 유형별 평가순위 및 점수를 기준으로 최우수(20%), 우수(30%), 보통·미흡(50%) 총 4개 등급으로 선정했다.
중구는 4가지 평가항목 모두 기초 지자체-자치구 유형군 평균보다 높은 점수를 획득하였으며 대구지역 지자체에서 유일하게 최우수 등급 기관으로 선정됐다.
류규하 중구청장은 “국민의 알권리 보장을 위해 중구가 지속적으로 노력한 결과 최우수라는 좋은 성과를 낼 수 있었다”며, “앞으로도 투명하고 열린 행정을 위해 앞서나가는 정보공개, 선제적인 정보공개를 실천하겠다”고 밝혔다.
