이번평가는 전국 243개 지방자치단체를 대상으로 정부혁신에 대한 지자체의 실행력을 확보하고 주민체감형 혁신 성과를 창출하기 위한 목적으로 기관 자율혁신, 혁신성과, 혁신 확산 및 국민체감도 3가지 항목 내 10가지 세부지표를 평가했다.
달성군은 82개 군단위 대상 평가에서 전년대비 28위에서 5위로 순위가 대폭 상승하였다.
