【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구대학교(총장 박순진) 창업지원단이 12일 중소벤처기업부의 ‘2021년 초기창업패키지 성과평가’에서 대상 기관으로 선정되었다고 밝혔다.

최근 중소벤처기업부는 ‘2021년 초기창업패키지 성과평가’를 통해 우수한 성과를 거둔 대학을 선정했다.

앞서 대구대는 2016년 창업선도대학 선정을 시작으로 2019년부터 2021년까지 전국 최초로 창업 전 주기 사업(예비-초기-도약)에 3년 연속 선정됐으며, 2022년에는 중소벤처기업부 주관 창업중심대학(전국 6개 대학, 대경권 유일)에 선정되는 등 창업 거점기관으로서의 역할을 수행하고 있다.

이 가운데 대구대 창업지원단은 이번 평가에서 전국 40개 사업 주관기관 중 상위 팀에 주어지는 A등급을 획득했으며, A등급에 선정된 기관 중에서도 우수한 평가를 받아 ‘대상’ 기관에 선정되었다.

이재현 대구대 창업지원단장은 “이번 평가를 통해 대구대가 지역을 넘어 우리나라에서 손꼽히는 창업지원기관으로서 우수한 역량을 입증하게 됐다”면서 “앞으로 권역 내 협업 대학 및 유관 기관과의 협력은 물론 전담 인력의 역량을 강화하고, 지역 경제를 견인할 유망 기업 발굴‧육성에 적극적으로 나서면서 지역 창업 생태계의 선순환 구조를 만들어 가는 데 최선을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
