9일, 구미시에 따르면 센터의 주요 역할은 구미시 기후위기 대응 정책 지원 및 탄소중립 생활실천 확산을 위한 교육․홍보, 지역기업 컨설팅 등이다. 향후 우리 시 실정에 맞는 지속 가능한 탄소중립 기반 마련으로 탄소중립도시의 경쟁력 강화를 도모할 예정이다.
