【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자= 대구 달서구(구청장 이태훈)는 ‘달서구 2050 탄소중립 추진전략 주민설명회’를 개최했다고 25일 밝혔다.
달서구 2050 탄소중립 추진전략은 지역 여건에 따른 온실가스 배출·흡수현황과 전망을 분석해 중장기 감축목표를 설정하고 부문별 주요 온실가스 감축 이행전략을 제시한다.
이날 보고회에서 연구 용역을 맡은 대구녹색환경지원센터 정응호 교수의 2050 탄소중립을 위한 지역 온실가스 인벤토리와 감축 추진전략에 관한 발표를 시작으로 탄소중립 사회로의 전환을 위한 부문별 구체적 실행방안에 대해 다양한 의견을 나누었다.
달서구는 ‘구민이 함께하는 탄소중립 그린시티 달서’를 비전으로 정하고 시민생활, 기후환경, 경제산업, 에너지전환, 녹색교통, 건물·도시, 산림·농축산, 순환경제 등 8대 부문에 대해 8G 전략을 수립했다.
녹색생활 실천, 녹색 기후, 녹색 경제/산업, 녹색 에너지 전환, 녹색 수송 시스템, 지속가능한 녹색도시 개발, 녹색 생태계 구축, 녹색 자원 순환의 8G 전략을 주축으로 세부 감축사업을 구성하고 있다.
달서구 전문가와 주민 의견을 반영해 다음달에 2050 탄소중립 추진전략을 완성할 계획이다.
이태훈 달서구청장은 “기후변화의 위기를 극복하고 탄소중립 사회 실현을 위하여 모든 정책에 탄소중립을 고려해야 하고, 실효를 거두기 위해서는 지역 주민들의 관심과 실천이 무엇보다 중요하다.”고 말했다.
