【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=포항시는 5일 시청 대회의실에서 ‘탄소중립’을 구체화하고 실현 방안을 논의하기 위한 ‘탄소중립시대를 열어가는 포항 미래 포럼’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

시에 따르면 이날 포럼은 시민, 사회단체 회원, 공무원 등 약 150명이 참석한 가운데‘기후 위기에 강하고 기후변화에 안전한 탄소중립도시 포항 조성을 위한 과제와 비전’이라는 주제로 진행됐다.

먼저 기조발표에서 이원태 경상북도 탄소중립지원센터장은 ‘탄소중립 실현을 위한 과제와 비전’이라는 제목으로 중앙정부와 지자체 간의 유기적인 정책 공유를 통한 탄소중립 방안을 제언했다.

또한, (사)지방행정발전연구원 조영탁 박사는 ‘포항시의 탄소중립 추진 현황과 대응 방안’에 대해, 황유식 그리너리(Greenery) 대표는 ‘탄소 중립시대 포항이 그린(Green) 미래’를 주제로 각각 발표를 진행했다.
