【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=  대구시는 양금희 국회의원과 함께 미래모빌리티 모터 특화단지 유치와 조성 방안 마련을 위한 포럼을 개최한다고 6일 밝혔다.

이날 포럼은 계명대학교 김범준 부총장의 ‘대구 미래모빌리티 산업현황과 특화전략’에 대한 기조발표에 이어 연세대학교 이우영 교수가 좌장을 맡아 ‘대구 미래모빌리티 모터 특화단지 조성 방안’에 대해 지역 기업과 연구기관, 학계 등 각계 전문가들이 심도 있는 토론을 갖는다.

토론은 윤선홍 현대케피코 상무와 강기봉 경창산업 부회장, 감병우 대동모빌리티 상무, 정재학 한국산업기술진흥원 단장, 이주 한양대학교 교수, 양기욱 산업통상자원부 산업공급망정책관, 이승대 대구시 혁신성장실장 등이 참여한다.

 이번 포럼에서 대구시는 지역 자동차 부품산업의 경쟁력 확보와 미래모빌리티 부품산업 선도도시로 자리매김과 함께 산업통상자원부의 소재·부품·장비 특화단지 선정 등에 중점을 두고 관계전문가들의 다각적인 의견수렴을 통해 모터 특화단지 조성 역량을 결집할 계획이다.

국민의힘 양금희 국회의원은 “대구가 전국을 넘어 세계 최고의 모빌리티 모터 제조·생산도시로 거듭날 수 있도록 소부장 특화단지 조성을 적극 뒷받침하겠다”고 말했다.

대구시 이종화 경제부시장은 “친환경차 수요 증가에 따라 모터 수요의 폭발적 증가로 글로벌 부품회사의 모터산업 경쟁이 치열한 가운데, 대구는 모터생산기업과 모터활용기업이 동반 성장 중에 있으며, 지역 자동차 부품기업들이 글로벌 경쟁력을 가질 수 있도록 산업부의 ‘소재부품장비 특화단지’ 지정에 발맞추어 모터산업 육성에 최선을 다 하겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 정부는 소재·부품·장비 분야에서 수요와 공급 기업 간 협력 및 혁신 체계 구축을 위한 산학연 클러스터 추진을 위해 지난 2020년 5월 특화 단지 추진계획을 마련했다.

또 2021년 2월에는 반도체와 정밀기계, 탄소소재, 디스플레이, 이차전지 등 5개 소부장 특화단지를 지정했으며, 올해 상반기 내에 미래차와 바이오 분야 특화단지를 추가 지정할 예정이다.

In addition, in February 2021, five specialized complexes for semiconductors, precision machinery, carbon materials, displays, and secondary batteries were designated, and additional specialized complexes for future cars and bio fields are scheduled to be designated within the first half of this year.
