【브레이크뉴스 경북】박은정 기자=경산시(시장 조현일)는 영남대학교 박물관이 소장하고 있는 단경왕후 온릉봉릉도감 계병 무이산도가 경상북도 유형문화재 제587호로 지정됐다고 28일 밝혔다.
단경왕후 온릉봉릉도감 계병 무이산도는 조선시대 중종반정으로 폐비되었던 중종의 비인 단경황후의 왕후 복위와 관련하여 온릉봉릉도감을 설치하고 이를 기념하기 위하여 제작된 8폭 계병이다.
병풍의 앞면에는 무이산도가 무이구곡의 순서 및 실경과 상관없이 자유롭게 배치되어 있고, 뒷면에는 행사가 순조롭게 진행되었다는 내용의 능역도감 도제조 겸 우의정 송인명의 글씨로 제작 경위가 적혀 있다.
경상북도 문화재위원회에서 유형문화재로 지정 의결된 단경왕후 온릉봉릉도감 계병 무이산도는 처음 제작되었을 때 색채와 구성이 조화를 수작으로 왕실과 깊이 관련되어 있는 점, 문공사와 구봉사라는 추모공간을 중심으로 무이산의 다양한 경물을 재구성한 점, 무이산의 경물을 치밀하게 표현하면서도 자유로운 필치로 환상적 표현을 가미하고 있는 점, 병풍 뒷면에 능역도감 송인명의 좌목서가 있어서 제작의 경위와 연대를 분명하게 알게 한 점 등 역사적, 문화사적, 회화사적 측면에서 가치가 높은 것으로 평가받았다.
이번 지정을 통해 경산은 국가지정문화재 15건, 도지정문화재 29건, 등록문화재 2건 등 모두 46건의 지정문화재를 보유하게 되었다.
조현일 경산시장은 “이번에 경상북도 유형문화재로 지정된 단경왕후 온릉봉릉도감 계병 무이산도를 비롯한 우리 시 소재 문화재에 대해 지속적인 관심 속에서 체계적으로 관리·보존하겠다”고 밝혔다.
