【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=포항해양경찰서(서장 김지한)는 여름 극성수기를 맞아8월 31일까지 수상레저 사업장과 주요 활동지, 사고 다발지 등을 대상으로 특별 안전관리를 실시한다고 6일 밝혔다.

이를 위해 포항해경은 안전점검반, 현장단속반, 예방지원반으로특별대책 현장팀을 구성, 안전 위험요소 점검 등 선제적인 사고예방에 나섰다.

중점점검 사항은 수상레저 사업장 내 인명구조장비 비치 및 착용실태 등 안전위해 요소와 수상레저 주요활동지 10개소를 포함하여 사고 다발지 8개소등 총 38개소에 대한 안전점검도 실시 예정이다.

또한 수상레저활동 관련 위법행위 특별단속을 실시한다. 특히 인명사고로 직결되는 무면허 조종, 음주 운항, 안전장비 미착용 등 현장단속반을 운영해 위법행위를 철저하게 단속하여 국민들이 안전 경각심을 가질 수 있도록 최선을 다할 것이다.

김지한 서장은 “여름 휴가철 성수기를 맞아 해양레저 활동자가 증가함에따라 그에 따른 대응체계를 구축하여 안전사고를 사전에 예방 할 계획이며국민들 또한 안전장비 착용 등 안전 레저문화 정착에 힘써 달라”고 당부했다.

Pohang Marine Police Department to Implement Special Safety Management for Water Leisure
