오는 23일 오후 5시 30분 꼼지락발전소 1층 선거홍보관에서 미래 유권자인 청소년들에게 올바른 선거문화와 민주주의 중요성을 교육하기 위해 마련된 영화제 픽(PICK)크닉이 열린다.

픽(PICK)크닉은 만 18세가 되면 소풍을 떠나는 즐거운 마음으로 첫 투표에 꼭 참여 하자는 응원메시지를 전달하기 위해 기획되었다.  

행사는 영화티켓 발권, 투·개표체험, 영화관람 순으로 진행되며 반드시 선거홍보관(1층)에서 사전투표 장비와 투표지분류기를 활용한 투·개표체험에 참여한 후 체험인증 스탬프를 받아야만 영화 관람을 위한 무대 입장이 가능하다.

상영작은 주토피아(2016)로 다양한 의견과 배경을 가진 동물 공동체가 편견과 차별, 권력 남용 등의 갈등상황을 다양성, 공정성, 참여·협력의 가치로 해결하는 과정을 그린 영화다.

부대행사로는 누구나 즐길수 있는 ▶OX 선거퀴즈 경품행사 ▶선거 소품 사진 코너 등 다양한 행사가 준비됐다.

대구시선관위 관계자는 “청소년들에게 선거를 통해 만들어 나가야 할 나은 세상을 함께 공유하는 뜻 깊은 시간이 되기를 기대한다”며 “가족단위 참가자들의 많은 관심과 참여를 바란다”고 전했다.
