공공단체등 위탁선거에 관한 법률 제35조(기부행위제한)제5항은 「농업협동조합법」등에 따른 조합장 등이 재임 중 기부행위를 할 수 없도록 제한하고, 해당 조항을 위반한 자는 3년 이하 징역 또는 3천만원 이하 벌금에 처하도록 규정하고 있다.

선관위 관계자는 “돈 선거 척결에 모든 단속 역량을 집중하고 있으며 신고·제보자에게는 최고 3억의 포상금을 지급할 수 있으니 적극적인 신고·제보를 바란다.”고 말했다.
