대구광역시선거관리위원회는 제20대 대통령선거 관련 불법 현수막 게시 및 특정 후보자를 위해 선거인에게 음료수를 제공한 혐의로 A씨를 검찰에 고발했다고 밝혔다.

선관위에 따르면 A씨는 지난 3월 5일부터 11일까지 7일 간 ‘3월 9일, B가 통되면 콜라 1.5리터 백개 쏜다’ 등의 내용이 기재된 현수막을 자신이 운영하는 가게 앞에 게시했다.

뿐만 아니라 10일부터 12일까지 3일 간 총 684,000원 상당의 음료 180개를 선거인 등에게 제공한 것으로 알려진다.

공직선거법 제90조(시설물설치 등의 금지) 제1항에는 누구든지 선거일 전 180일부터 선거에 영향을 미치는 현수막 등을 게시할 수 없고, 제230조(매수 및 이해유도죄)제1항제1호에서 누구든지 당선되게 할 목적으로 선거인에게 물품 등을 제공하거나 그 제공의 의사 표시를 할 수 없도록 규정하고 있다.
