【브레이크뉴스 안동】이성현 기자=안동시의회(의장 김경도)는 5월 26일 제258회 임시회 제2차 본회의를 끝으로 8일간의 회기 일정을 마무리하고 임시회를 폐회했다.

이번 임시회는 5월 19일 개회해 회기 결정과 함께 시작됐으며, 20~21일에는 각 상임위원회가 열려 집행부가 제출한 2025년도 제2회 추가경정예산안 및 기금운용계획 변경안에 대한 예비심사를 진행했다. 

이어 22~23일에는 예산결산특별위원회가 예비 심사 결과를 토대로 추경 예산안을 종합 심사하여 수정가결, 기금운용계획 변경안은 원안대로 가결했다.

이번 추경 예산안 심사에서는 총 19억 6,400만 원이 삭감되었으며, 특히 산불 피해 주민의 일상 회복을 최우선 과제로 삼고, 신규 사업은 적절성과 효과성 등을 면밀히 따져 신중히 판단했다.

26일 열린 제2차 본회의에서는 집행부가 제출한 안건 30건을 원안가결, 2025년도 제2회 추가경정예산안 1건은 수정가결했다.

또한 의원 발의 조례안 중「안동시 바르게살기운동조직 육성 및 지원 조례안」(손광영 외 6인 공동발의)은 원안 가결,「사유시설 피해 재난지원금 지원 조례안」(김새롬 외 14인 공동발의)은 수정 가결됐다.

한편, 이날 본회의에 앞서 여주희 의원은 「도시 발전 가로막는 송현동 군부대, 전면 이전 추진해야」라는 주제로, 김새롬 의원은 「방치된 공간에서 지역 중심으로, 송하동의 새로운 도약」을 주제로 5분 자유발언을 통해 시정 개선방안을 제안했다.

김경도 의장은 “시민의 삶과 직결된 예산과 조례들을 면밀히 검토해 의결한 만큼, 집행부는 이를 책임 있게 실행해 주길 바란다”고 밝혔다.
