이번에 위촉된 결산검사위원은 대표위원인 김새롬 의원을 비롯해 변창호 세무사, 안효근 세무사, 이윤수 공인회계사 등 재무·회계 분야 전문 인력으로 구성됐다.
위원들은 이날부터 4월 22일까지 20일간 안동시 각 부서와 산하기관이 제출한 결산서류를 대상으로 예산 집행의 적정성과 목적 부합 여부를 집중 점검할 예정이다.
결산검사는 지방의회가 의결한 예산이 관련 규정에 따라 집행됐는지를 확인하는 절차로, 재정 운영의 투명성과 책임성을 확보하는 핵심 장치다. 특히 예산 집행 과정에서의 비효율을 점검하고 성과를 체계적으로 분석해, 향후 재정 운용에 반영하는 데 목적이 있다.

김경도 의장은 “안동시 재정의 건전성을 높이고 행정 신뢰도를 제고하기 위해서는 예산 집행 전반에 대한 면밀한 검토가 필요하다”며 “실효성 있는 개선 방안을 도출해 시민이 체감할 수 있는 재정 운영이 이뤄지도록 노력해달라”고 당부했다.
