【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 수성구가 보육환경 개선과 보육 서비스 질 향상을 위한 ‘수성구형 우수어린이집’ 4곳을 새롭게 선정했다.

수성구(구청장 김대권)는 지난 16일, 민간 및 가정어린이집을 대상으로 한 ‘우수어린이집’ 4개소를 최종 선정했다고 밝혔다. 선정된 어린이집은 민간어린이집 2곳(줄리어드어린이집, 정화우방어린이집)과 가정어린이집 2곳(다사랑어린이집, 효원어린이집)이다.

이번 평가는 한국보육진흥원 인증을 통과한 어린이집 중 학부모 선호도, 교직원 전문성, 취약보육 운영 등 총 9개 항목을 기준으로 이뤄졌으며, 고득점 기관이 최종 선정됐다.

선정된 어린이집에는 수성구가 현판을 수여하고, 향후 3년간 환경 개선비도 지원할 계획이다. 이번 사업은 국공립어린이집 대비 상대적으로 보육환경이 열악한 민간·가정어린이집을 지원하기 위한 수성구의 특화 사업으로, 보육의 질을 높이고 교직원 사기 진작에도 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

김대권 수성구청장은 “실질적이고 지속가능한 보육·돌봄 서비스를 실현하기 위해 다양한 정책을 추진하고 있다”며 “앞으로도 수성구를 아이 키우기 좋은 도시로 만들어가겠다”고 말했다.
