아울러 재난·안전 분야에 대해서도 구체적인 지시가 이어졌다.

김 권한대행은 “가을철 산불은 대부분 담뱃불 등 부주의에서 발생하는 만큼, 구·군과 협조해 예찰과 계도를 강화하고 홍보를 철저히 하라”고 강조했다.

또한 “소방안전본부를 중심으로 쪽방촌, 노후산단, 전통시장 등 화재취약지역의 소방안전대책을 마련해 예찰 활동을 적극 추진하라”고 덧붙였다.
