【브레이크뉴스 의성】이성현 기자=의성군(군수 김주수)이 고용노동부가 주관하는 ‘청년성장프로젝트’ 공모사업에 최종 선정돼 오는 3월부터 본격적인 사업 추진에 나선다.
이번 사업은 미취업 청년의 원활한 사회 진입을 지원하고 이른바 ‘쉬었음’ 상태에 놓인 청년을 예방하기 위해 마련됐다.
‘청년성장프로젝트’는 청년 친화적 공간인 청년카페를 거점으로 상담, 역량 강화, 지역 특화 체험, 심리 지원 등 사회 진출을 위한 통합 지원 서비스를 제공하는 사업이다.
사업은 초기 1대1 상담을 통해 참여 청년의 현재 상황과 진로 방향을 진단한 뒤 유형별 맞춤 프로그램을 연계·지원하는 방식으로 운영된다.
맞춤 프로그램은 ▲성장지원형 ▲지역특화형 ▲일상회복형 등 세 가지 유형으로 구성된다.
성장지원형은 취업·이직·경력 재설계와 멘토링, 취업캠프 등을 지원하며, 지역특화형은 드론과 스마트팜 등 지역 미래산업 체험과 현직자 연계 프로그램을 제공한다. 일상회복형은 스트레스 해소와 또래 간 관계 형성 등 정서적 회복을 돕는 프로그램으로 운영된다.
특히 구직 과정에서 겪는 스트레스나 우울감 등으로 전문 상담이 필요한 청년에게는 전문가 연계를 통한 1대1 심리 상담을 지원해 실질적인 회복과 재도약을 뒷받침할 계획이다.
김주수 의성군수는 “청년성장프로젝트는 단순한 취업 지원을 넘어 청년의 삶 전반을 함께 설계하는 통합 성장 지원 모델”이라며 “앞으로도 청년들이 체감할 수 있는 다양한 지원사업을 지속적으로 발굴하고 지원을 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

The customized programs are comprised of three types: ▲Growth Support Type ▲Regional Specialization Type ▲Daily Life Recovery Type. The growth support program provides support for employment, job changes, career redesign, mentoring, and job camps. The regionally specialized program offers experiences in local future industries like drones and smart farms, as well as programs connecting with current employees. The daily recovery program focuses on emotional recovery through stress relief and peer-to-peer relationship building.
For young people who require professional counseling due to stress or depression experienced during the job search process, one-on-one psychological counseling through expert connections will be provided, fostering practical recovery and a fresh start.
Uiseong County Mayor Kim Ju-soo stated, "The Youth Growth Project is an integrated growth support model that goes beyond simple job support to design the entire lives of young people. We will continue to discover and expand diverse support programs that young people can experience."
