의성군은 2026년도 제1회 추가경정예산안을 본예산 8,500억 원보다 960억 원(11.3%) 늘어난 9,460억 원 규모로 편성해 군의회에 제출했다고 6일 밝혔다.

회계별로는 일반회계가 본예산 대비 950억 원(12%) 증가한 8,877억 원, 특별회계는 10억 원(1.8%) 늘어난 583억 원이다. 군은 지방교부세 448억 원과 조정교부금 110억 원, 국·도비 보조금 138억 원 등 가용 재원을 확보해 지역 현안 사업과 경제 활성화 사업에 투입할 계획이다.

이번 추경은 국·도비 보조사업 변경 사항을 반영하고 재해·재난 예방을 통한 주민 안전 강화, 미래 성장동력 확보를 위한 장기 추진사업, 지역경제 활성화와 농업 경쟁력 제고 등에 중점을 두고 편성됐다.

주요 사업으로는 산불 피해 복구와 재난 예방을 위해 산불 피해목 벌채 100억 원과 국가유산 긴급복구 26억 원 등이 반영됐다.

또 미래 성장 기반 마련을 위해 생활자원회수센터 설치 50억 원, 노지 스마트기술 융복합 실증모델 확산 16억 원, 미이용 산림자원화센터 조성 11억 원, 투자유치진흥기금 조성 10억 원 등이 편성됐다. 이와 함께 대구경북 통합신공항 이전 주변지역 주민지원기금과 드론산업 육성기금도 각각 5억 원씩 적립할 계획이다.

농업 경쟁력 강화와 유통 기반 확충을 위한 예산도 포함됐다. 먹거리 통합지원센터 건립 29억 원, 유기농산업 복합서비스 지원단지 조성 23억 원, 농기계 임대사업소 증설 12억 원 등이 반영됐다.

아울러 주민 여가와 지역경제 활성화를 위해 궁도장 조성 30억 원과 지역사랑상품권 발행 20억 원도 예산에 포함됐다.

김주수 의성군수는 “이번 추경은 산불 피해 복구와 재해·재난 예방 투자, 지역경제 활성화에 중점을 두고 가용 재원을 최대한 활용해 편성했다”며 “농업 경쟁력 강화와 미래 전략사업이 차질 없이 추진될 수 있도록 신속하고 효율적인 재정 집행에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

한편 이번 추경 예산안은 군의회 심의를 거쳐 오는 3월 24일 최종 확정될 예정이다.
