【브레이크뉴스 의성】이성현 기자=의성군이 청년기업의 경영 안정과 지역 정착을 지원하기 위해 ‘2026년도 청년기업 융자지원사업’을 시행한다.
의성군은 3월부터 군이 자체 조성한 청년발전기금을 활용해 지역 청년기업에 저금리 융자를 지원하는 사업을 추진한다고 밝혔다. 이번 사업은 경영 여건이 어려운 청년기업의 부담을 줄이고 지역 경제 활성화를 도모하기 위해 마련됐다.
군은 지난 2년간 해당 사업을 통해 다양한 업종의 청년기업 74개소에 총 28억여 원을 지원하며 큰 호응을 얻은 바 있다.
올해 융자 지원 규모는 총 20억 원으로 연 1%의 고정금리로 제공된다. 지원 한도는 중소기업의 경우 최대 1억 원, 소상공인은 최대 5천만 원까지다.
특히 올해는 더 많은 청년기업이 혜택을 받을 수 있도록 의성군 거주기간 6개월 제한을 완화하고 융자 신청 절차도 간소화했다. 또한 청년센터가 주관하는 창업가 컨설팅을 연 2회 지원해 청년들이 지역에 안정적으로 정착하고 사업을 지속할 수 있도록 도울 계획이다.
지원 대상은 신청일 기준 의성군에 거주하며 군 내 사업장을 운영하는 19세 이상 45세 이하 청년기업이다. 신청은 3월부터 연말까지 상시 접수하며 자세한 사항은 의성군 홈페이지 ‘고시·공고’란에서 확인할 수 있다.
김주수 의성군수는 “경기 침체로 어려움을 겪는 청년기업을 위해 융자 조건을 대폭 개선한 만큼 보다 실질적이고 폭넓은 지원이 이뤄질 것으로 기대한다”며 “앞으로도 청년들의 꿈과 도전을 응원하고 지속적인 행정·재정 지원을 이어가겠다”고 말했다.

Eligible applicants are young businesses aged 19 to 45 who reside in Uiseong County and operate a business within the county as of the application date.
