중소벤처기업부(이하 중기부)는 45년 이상 건실한 기업 운영으로 우리 사회와 경제에 크게 기여한 중소·중견기업을 2017년부터 매년 명문장수기업으로 선정하고 있으며 현재까지 총 19개사를 명문장수기업으로 선정했다.

신청대상은 건설업‧부동산업‧금융 및 보험업을 제외한 업력 45년 이상의 중소·중견기업으로 중견기업은 매출액 3,000억원 미만의 기업으로 제한된다.

신청방법은 명문장수기업 확인신청서, 사업자등록증 등 제출서류를 작성해 중소기업은 중소기업중앙회에, 중견기업은 한국중견기업연합회에4월 30일까지 우편 또는 방문해 제출하면 된다.

명문장수기업으로 선정되기 위해서는 법인세 체납, 법규 위반, 사회적 물의 사실 등이 없어야 하며 업력(60점), 경제적·사회적기여(28점), 기업역량(9점), 기업혁신(3점)등을 평가해 80점 이상을 획득해야 한다.

명문장수기업으로 선정된 기업에는 확인서와 현판 발급, 자사 제품에 명문장수기업 마크를 활용할 수 있으며, 중기부 지원사업 우대(가점 부여,보증료율 감면 등)를 기존 6개에서 올해부터 64개로 대폭 확대하여 실질적인 혜택을 받을 수 있게 됐다.

또한 국민 누구나 명문장수기업을 추천할 수 있도록 국민 추천제를 운영한다. 지역경제 활성화에 기여한 모범 장수기업을 알고 있는 경우중기부 누리집에서 해당 기업을 명문장수기업으로 추천할 수 있으며,

국민추천은 4월 23일까지이며 추천기업명, 기업연락처, 추천사유 등을 작성해 추천하면 된다.
