대통령직속 탄소중립위원회 위원 중 부처 추천 인사는 44% 뿐인 것으로 나타났다.

11일 국민의힘 양금희 의원(대구 북구 갑, 산업통상자원중소벤처기업위원회)은 2050탄소중립위원회 및 정부 부처로부터 제출받은 자료에 따르면, 탄소중립위원회 위촉직 위원 77명 중 정부 부처의 추천을 통해 임명된 위원은 34명(44%)에 불과한 것으로 확인됐다고 밝혔다.

양금희 의원실에서 각 부처별 추천 인원 및 최종 위촉 위원을 확인한 결과 위촉직 위원 77명 중 정부 부처 추천 인사는 34명으로 44%에 불과했다.

부처별로 살펴보면 환경부가 14명으로 가장 많았으며, 산업통상자원부 9명, 중소벤처기업부 4명, 과학기술정보통신부 3명, 고용노동부·외교부·해양수산부 각 2명, 교육부·국토교통부·농림축산식품부 각 1명으로 총 34명(중복인원 5명 제외)만이 부처에서 추천한 것으로 확인됐다.

국가 경제에 미치는 영향이 막대한 탄소중립시나리오를 작성하는 위촉직 위원 중 절반 이상인 43명(56%)은 추천 루트 조차 확인 할 수 없는 상황이다.

이에 양금희 의원은 "국내 기업 경쟁력 유지하며 탄소중립 대응 할 수 있도록 산업계 의견 청취 할 수 있는 창구 마련 해야할 것"이라고 말했다.
