15일 대구북구 선거관리위원회에 제22대 국회의원 선거 예비후보로 등록한 양금희 의원은 “북구와 대구의 중단없는 발전을 위해 재선에 도전한다”며 의지를 밝혔다.

양 의원은 현 21대 국회 북구갑 국회의원으로, 국민의힘 원내대변인, 수석대변인을 연달아 역임했고, 중앙여성위원장과 윤석열 대선캠프 여성선대본부장, 대구시 최초 여성 시당위원장 등의 중책을 맡아왔다. 

현재는 한동훈 비대위에서 제22대 국회의원 선거‘공약개발본부 민생공약단장’에 선임돼 활동을 이어오고 있다.

양 의원은 국회 유일한 전자공학 전공자임을 강조하며 “국회 산중위, 첨단산업특위, 예결위 등에서 축적된 전문성을 최대 강점으로, 북구발전을 위해 ▶도심융합특구지정 ▶경북대 반도체연구소 선정 ▶삼성경제창조센터 청년창업육성을 위한 지역최초 C-LAP 아웃사이드 유치 ▶침산공업지역 스마트로봇 혁신지구 조성 등의 성과를 냈다”고 밝혔다.
