대구시는 정부의 현 거리두기 조치에 따라 오는 5일부터 식당‧카페 등 다중이용시설의 영업시간을 오후 11시까지로 연장한다고 밝혔다.
대구시는 고위험군 관리 중심 방역체계 개편에 따른 정합성 문제, 오미크론 특성으로인한 거리두기 수용성 저하, 11주간의 지속된 거리두기로 민생경제의 피해 누적 등을 감안해 현 거리두기 조치를 일부 조정한다.
이에 따라 유흥시설, 식당·카페, 노래(코인)연습장, 목욕장업, 실내체육시설, PC방, 멀티방·오락실, 파티룸, 카지노, 마사지업소·안마소, 평생직업교육학원, 영화관·공연장 등 운영시간이 현행 22시에서 23시까지 1시간 연장 조정된다.
그 외 사적모임, 행사·집회 등 나머지 조치는 현행대로 유지된다.
이번 거리두기 조정은 소상공인들의 어려움을 감안해 5일부터 즉시 시행되며 20일까지 적용된다.
향후, 이번 거리두기 조정에 따른 영향을 평가해 정점 이후 감소세로 전환될 경우 본격적으로 거리두기 완화 방안 등 사회적 논의를 시작할 예정이다.
