【브레이크뉴스 대구경북】이성현 기자=오는 6.1 지방선거 후보자 등록이 13일로 마무리됐다. 전국 2천 324개 선거구에 4천 132명의 선출직을 뽑는 이번 선거에는 총 7천 616명의 후보가 등록해 평균 경쟁률 1.8대 1을 기록했다.

대구와 경북을 놓고 보면 각각 1명씩을 선출하는 대구.경북 시도지사에는 4명의 시장 후보와 2명의 도지사 후보가 등록했다. 이 가운데 여성이 시장과 도지사 후보로 각각 1명씩 출마해 어느 해보다 광역단체장 여성 도전의 비율이 높아졌다. 

기초단체장의 경우, 대구에서는 8개 선거구에 16명이 도전해 2대 1의 경쟁률을 보였고, 경북은 23개 지역에 57명이 도전, 2.5대 1의 경쟁률을 나타냈다. 광역의원은 대구 29개 선거구에 39명 1.35대 1, 경북 55개 선거구 106명이 도전하면서 1.9대1의 경쟁률을 나타냈다.

기초의원에서는 대구 40개 선거구에 187명이 도전해 1.8대 1, 경북 106개 선거구 491명이 등록해 2.0대 1로 나타났으며, 광역 비례대표는 대구 3명 정수에 9명 신청해 3대 1, 경북 6명 정수에 13명 신청해 2.2대 1이었다. 또, 기초 비례는 대구 16명 정수에 21명 신청했다. 경쟁률은 1.3대 1로 나타났고, 경북은 37명 정수에 51명이 등록을 마쳐 1.4대 1의 경쟁률을 나타냈다.

교육감의 경우, 대구와 경북에서 각각 2명과 3명이 후보 등록했다. 

무투표 당선 쏟아져, 모두 국민의힘 소속 

이번 선거에서는 무투표 당선자가 대거 나왔다. 대구와 경북의 기초단체장 선거에서 대구 중구의 류규하, 이태훈 구청장이 무투표로 당선이 확정됐고, 경북에서는 예천의 김학동 군수가 역시 무투표 당선이 확정됐다. 이들 후보 모두는 예선이었던 당내 경선이 치열했다는 공통점을 지니고 있다.

광역의원 및 기초의원에서는 무더기로 쏟아져 나왔다. 광역의원의 경우, 대구에서만 20명이 무투표 당선이 확정됐고, 경북에서도 16명이 본선거 없이 당선증을 받게 됐다. 기초에서는 대구 3명, 경북 6명이 무투표 당선됐다.

비례대표의 경우, 확정된 후보만 21명으로 나타났다. 일단 광역 비례는 선거가 끝나봐야 최종 알 수있지만 기초 비례의 경우 대구에서 6명, 경북 15명이 1차 당선 확정됐다.

It was 2.2 to 1 with 13 people applying for the 6-person constant. In addition, for the basic proportion, 21 people applied for the fixed number of 16 people in Daegu. The competition ratio was 1.3 to 1, and in Gyeongbuk Province, 51 people registered out of 37 people, showing a competition ratio of 1.4 to 1.

In the case of superintendent, two and three candidates were registered from Daegu and Gyeongbuk, respectively.

Elections without voting pour in, all belong to the People's Power

In this election, there were a lot of no-vote winners. In Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do’s basic group head elections, Daegu’s Jung-gu head, Ryu Gyu-ha and Lee Tae-hoon, won the election without a vote, and in Gyeongbuk, the governor Kim Hak-dong of Yecheon was also elected without a vote. All of these candidates have in common that they were fiercely contested within the party, which was the preliminary round.

In the case of provincial legislators, 20 people were elected without a vote in Daegu alone, and 16 people in Gyeongbuk also received certificates of election without a general election.
