대구시, 합동 음주·체납차량 단속 벌여
지방세 체납(시, 동구), 음주운전·대포차(경찰청), 통행료 체납(도로공사) 동시 단속

【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=대구시는 최근 경찰청, 한국도로공사와 합동으로 대포차량, 자동차세 및 고속도로 통행료 체납차량에 대한 동시 단속을 실시했다고 29일 밝혔다.
이번 합동단속은 자동차 관련 유관기관 간 동시 단속을 실시함으로써 체납차량의 단속효과를 높이고 법규위반자에게 경각심을 주어 자진납부 분위기를 조성하기 위함이다.
단속방법은 경찰이 차량을 정차시켜 음주여부를 측정할 때 인근에서 체납차량 자동판독시스템을 장착한 차량을 활용해 자동차세 및 과태료 체납차량, 대포차량, 고속도로 통행료 체납차량을 동시 단속했다.
올해 합동단속은 연말까지 총 7회 매월 마지막 주에 진행될 예정이며 시, 구·군 공무원, 경찰, 도로공사 직원 총 15명의 인원과 번호판 영상인식차량 및 경찰순찰차 총 7대의 차량이 동원된다.
김정기 대구시 기획조정실장은 “자동차 관련 행정기관 간 협업으로 단속의 효율성이 제고되고 납세의식이 크게 개선될 것으로 본다”며, “향후에도 유관기관 간 상생협력 방안을 모색해 체납차량을 근절하고 공평과세를 실현하겠다”고 밝혔다.
