대구시의 박희준 문화체육관광국장을 비롯한 각 분야별 시.구 공무원, 광역 및 기초 의원의 참석은 물론, 지역 주민들이 대거 참석한 가운데 대구시와 수성구의 문화·관광 분야에 대하여 함께 머리를 맞대고 문화컨텐츠 개발에 대한 현황과 향후 계획에 대한 보고와 심도 있는 논의가 이루어졌다.
이들은 ‘단군성전길의 스토리텔링을 통한 적극적 홍보’, ‘수성못과 들안길을 연결하는 명품 브릿지 조성’, ‘대중화된 커피 문화에 버금가는 우리 전통차를 즐길 수 있는 공간과 시설 조성을 위한 정책적 배려’,‘주차공간 확충을 통한 수성못 문화 컨텐츠 이용의 편리성 극대화’등 정책 결정 시 반드시 반영되어야 할 지역 주민들의 생생한 목소리가 전달됐다.
이인선 의원은“대구의 대표 관광자원이자 다양한 문화컨텐츠 향유가 가능한 수성못에, 세계적 수준의 상설 수상공연장 조성 등을 통한 수성못 관광클러스터 조성을 위해 다양한 방법으로 노력 중”이라며“우리 수성구와 대구에 국가 예산을 최대한 많이 받아올 수 있도록 국회 예산결산특별위원으로서 그 역할을 확실히 하겠다.”고 약속했다.
이어“지역 발전을 위한 고민에 주민들께서 많은 관심과 참석을 해 주셨으면 하는 마음으로 시작한 새로운 시도에 많은 주민들이 호응해 주셔서 큰 감동을 받는다”면서 “주민들의 생생한 목소리를 직접 들을 수 있는 다양한 방법을 앞으로도 더 고민하겠다.”고 강조했다.
한편, 이번 정책세미나는 민원의 날 개최 등 지역민들과의 기존 소통 방식과 함께, 국회와 대구시·수성구·시의회·구의회·지역민이 한자리에 모여 수성구와 대구시의 발전을 위한 고민을 함께 나누고 지혜를 모으는 장을 만들고자 개최하게 되었으며, 지난주‘청년과 벤처창업’관련 세미나에 이어 두 번째를 맞이하였다. 이인선 의원은, 향후에도 다양한 주제를 통해 수성구와 대구시의 발전을 위해 공부하고 지혜를 모으는 장을 지속적으로 마련할 계획이라고 밝혔다.
