확정된 특별교부세는 동아리공원 재정비 7억, 철로변 산책로 생활안전 CCTV 설치 1억원, 경운초 북편 일원 하수관로 정비 2억원, 서대구로29길 일원 하수관로 정비 2억 총 4건 12억이다.
비원도서관과 인접해 있는 동아리공원은 시설의 노후화로 재정비가 필요해 혹서기 폭염대응과 쾌적한 환경을 제공하기 위해 분수광장을 조성할 예정이다.
또 철로변 북편 산책로는 나무가 우거져 있어 새벽 시간대 범죄의 우려가 있어 주민들의 안전하고 건강한 여가생활을 위해 산책로 내에 생활안전 CCTV 설치가 절실히 필요한 곳이다.
특히 집중호우 시 원활한 배수로 도로침수 예방 및 주민불편을 해소하기 위해 경운초 북편 및 서대구로29길 일원 하수관로를 정비할 예정이다.
류한국 서구청장은“주민의 안전과 삶의 질이 한층 더 향상될 수 있도록 꾸준한 국고예산 확보를 위해 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
