15일 영덕군에 따르면 고택·종갓집 활용사업은 고택·종갓집의 의·식·주, 의례 등 전통문화를 쉽고 재미있게 이해하고 체험할 수 있도록 해 사라져가는 전통문화에 대한 이해와 관심을 제고하고, 주변 지역의 생태·문화 자원과 연계한 프로그램을 통해 고택·종갓집을 지역의 관광 자원화하는 사업이다.

영덕군은 대유학자 갈암 이현일 선생의 종택과 괴시전통마을을 연계한 다채롭고 흥미로운 지역 활성화 사업을 추진해 3년 연속 우수 지자체로 선정됐다.

연계사업을 살펴보면

먼저, ‘내림밥상표 갈암종가’ 사업은 관광지 탐방, 오침안정법 책 엮기, 유복체험, 사당 인사, 반가의 음식 체험, 가훈쓰기, 연극 체험 등의 다양한 프로그램을 진행했다.

‘블루영덕표 갈암종가’ 사업은 코레일과 관광상품을 개발해 풍력단지와 고래불 해안을 탐방하며 맑고 깨끗한 자연이 살아있는 영덕군을 경험하게 했다.

또한, ‘토끼와 모란표 갈암종가’ 사업은 지역의 학생과 주민을 대상으로 괴시마을을 탐방하고 ‘내림밥상표 갈암종가’와 같이 다양한 프로그램을 제공해 고택과 친숙해질 기회를 제공했다.

‘생명도토리표 갈암종가’ 사업은 봄철 신행(신부가 혼례식을 마치고 신방을 치른 뒤 신랑집으로 가는 혼례 의식) 재현과 겨울철 김장 나눔 행사를 통해 갈암종가의 반가문화와 나눔의 덕을 체험하게 했다.
